So let's talk Shane Wright.

What would everyone be willing to part with? Would you consider a Cowan for Wright straight up? Or would you consider something larger with better long term outlook. I know everyone refuses to consider trading Knies, but we would likely get a good return for now and later ina.

ove like Knies for Wright and O'Brien.
McKenna O'Brien Wright would make a good line.

Not much. Especially with their asking price. Seems like Cowan wouldn't fo it alonr and I believe Wright to be overhyped solely because he was granted exceptional status. Since then, his game has gone no where, his skating is below average, his IQ is struggling to keep up with plays, he isn't physical, etc.

I believe Wright to be a solid reclamation project that can be a 3C on a good team that steps in as a 2C when injuries occur.

Maybe a 2nd rounder is about where I put his value, but they'd never accept that.

Wright doesn’t come close to getting them Knies... That’s laughable. Wouldn’t give them Cowan for him either.

We take Wright if they throw in Jani Nyman.

We give them Reilly, Quillan, and our 1st round pick from Colorado.
It's sad the way Wright has turned out but that trade is actually Reilly and Quillan for him. The late round 1st is for the true key to the trade. Nyman.

I didn't say I'd give Knies for Wright, I'm saying that would be the ask from Seattle, which makes me uninterested. I think the other ask is Cowan and the first, which I also think is too much.

I don’t believe Seattle is that ? to ask for Knies without adding 1st rd pics and another prospect at least. They know the Leafs rejected big offers for Knies. Shanacant, wake up buddy.
