I wonder if the Blues would have gone for this at the deadline, or maybe in the off season - Matthews for Robert Thomas and Parayko?

I’m pretty sure the Blues would have been all over that deal. It’s a steal for them. Can get a much better and younger package for Matthews than that.

That’s not a great return and I doubt Matthews would want to go to another situation that’s similar to where the Leafs are at… If he moves it will be to the coast like one of the California teams.
