We are def getting swept (hopefully not) but, Boston has shown us our flaws
Fire Keefe: Always throwing someone under the bus, he's done
Sign a goalie: Brossoit 3x4 or Pickard 2x3
Bolster Defence; need puckmovers and some stay at home D: Montour 3x5, Skjei 3x5 and/or Pesce 3x5, MacDermid 3x1,
Bolster Forwards: Stammer 4x4, Tuzzi and Domi at 5x3.5, Brown 2x1, Marcassault 3x5
Trade: Jarnkrok, Kampf
Cap-wise: Obviously they won't be able to fit everyone, the more the better. Goalie and Defence def need to be better tho, so if they arent able to go crazy on forwards, it aight since we got some down our pipeline.
In the future: Tavares 4x3, Marner 8x8

Matthews hasn’t scored 3 games so there is going to be an explosion soon. Austin had 6 great chances game 1
I haven’t read it but I assume McMann and Nylander are back in the lineup for game 2.

When Marner and Tavares contracts are up in 2025
The leafs should sign 3-6 million dollar players and 1-4 million dollar players with that 22 million cap space
No more of this core 4 contracts with a bunch of fill ins.

I particularly liked Marner at $8M x 8 years taking a massive pay cut from his current $10.9
Then there is Bertuzzi taking a pay cut from his current $5.5M down to $3.5!

It would be the leafs including the first to Edmonton not the other way around. Kamph and Holmberg don’t get just Trouba. And Rempe is a clown show.

Trade ain't the great, Marner played great, I think he just needs another playmaker/ shooter on his line so he has options. I like this new first line. Maybe they play Matthews for Willy and Knies, JT with Jarnkrok and Robo.
