After picking Matthews it's time to start building around the all the great prospects we have. Pick up a top 6 forward, top 4 D and a goalie that can compete with Bernier. If the leafs can't do this on draft day or July 1st then you start looking for trades.

After watching Matthews in the quarter finals score 2 goals to advance. Now all weekend we get to watch Marner dominate the Memorial Cup. With Nylander, Brown, Hyman, Soshnikov and C. Carrick having a great Playoff run with the Marlies. The signing of Zaitsev. i'm finally so excited to be a Leaf fan. Thanks Shanny for starting this rebuild. Go LEAFS GO.

I would hope Connor Carrick would make the leafs next year. Leading score of the AHL playoffs. Right handed shot too.

Agree. The only change I would make might be putting Komarov on second line with the young kids' only to help with development and also protect, Vessey third line until he develops/adjusts.
