After last night game it's clear that St. Louis needs another offensive guy so.....

Tor: nylander gardener Johnson

Stl: parayko fabri and a pick likely 2nd or 3rd

I think nylander is showing his character right now basically has idc what happens to the team I just wanna get paid so move him
Johnson I haven't liked so far this year he's not really standing out and hasn't step up to the challenge gardiner is added cause the blues will want a quality defencemen back

Lines moving forward

Marleau Mathews kapanen
Hyman Tavares marner
Ennis/fabri kadri brown
Leivo lindholm ennis/fabri

Reilly parayko
Hainsey zaitzev
Dermott oz

I can get behind this. I don’t see the fascination with Will. He isn’t an $8.5 mil player. We can get someone half that cost who will excel on this team. After the Habs game it is clear that we need a solid top 2 defense. Gardiner gave too many away and Willie would NOT have made a difference which is what stands out to me.

Agreed and I think kapanen on Mathews line is a must he is a similar player to hyman except he has more speedy and I think he has more offensive abilities kapanen is playing better than a 4th line winger.

I just read that Willie is stuck at $8mil where Pastrnak is at $6.6 and signed that when he scored 34 for 70pts. Willie had 20 goals and 61 pts. Give your head a shake, Willie!

Easy yes from the Leafs. If St. Louis would make this trade, I would pack Nylander’s bags for him and even kiss him goodbye for making this trade a possibility.

Another option may be edmundson, Dunn, or schmaltz and just get either a 1st or better forward back.

@Leafs94 agreed about Kapanen, I'd love to see him up with Matthews and Marleau. He's gritty, finishes his checks, has killer speed and can finish around the net. He, s also solid defensively and can both exit and enter the zones quite well.

The added bonus of this is pushing Ennis to 3rd line LW, where Kadri badly needs some support. Leivo and Brown aren't enough to take pressure off him.
