Skip 1st trade and go to second.

The only trade that is realistic is Pickard for a 6th. For the rest, not sure what your smoking but I wish you would share your stash.

The islander deal is close.

Remember when leafs sent 5 worst guys to the island for Grabner.
Grabner was a little worst than Eberle but a few million cheaper.
This deal might work

Second deal definetly works now as this is probably closest acceptable package for a Panarin Savard combo now.

Anaheim deal works also

No next year trades, no major explanation as we get his thinking since he has been thinking it for 4 weeks now.

Good job themostleaf33.

These are interesting trades, do they fit under the salary cap.

There is a way to do this and extend Panarin and Savard and Montour.

The Leafs bridge Nylander, Matthews and Marner for two years.

With salary cap appreciating to $87.5 MM in two years and $92 MM in three years. Leafs can afford everyone and the increases for everyone can be handled. Marleau is no longer an issue.

Panarin Matthews Nylander
Marleau Taveras Marner
Johnsson Kadri Kapannen
Grundstrom xxx xxxxx

Reilly Savard
Dermott Lilygren
Rosen Montour
Borgmann

Anderson
Sparks

Panarin extended and the youngsters are Bridged for two years is - $75 MM for 2019-2020. Defense is improved.

Panarin doesn’t have to be extended, and Savard is locked up long term, anyway this is my point
We win the cup this year (or at least come close, knock on wood), then next year we can deal Panarin to a team for a first and a good prospect, same with Savard and Marleau (but for less in return), this gives us 2 first round picks in 2020 which replaces our lost 2019 1st, we can work on replacing the lost 2021 1st later on
We could maybe send a package of Panarin and Marleau to the sharks, and maybe even throw in Savard if they want him too, and get a first, two prospects, and maybe a decent LD to replace Hainsey as well, just a thought.
