LOL. Liljegren? Only time I’d put in Liljegren in a package is when you’re trading for Tavares that’s it. Not Eberle. Replace Nielsen instead of Liljegren and I’ll be ok with that.

The Islanders trade looks weak. But they receive some good players and high end prospects. Maybe the same trade can be used to acquire Jersey’s 17th overall and a depth center man if Islanders don’t want to play ball.

Eberle is a stud. At $6M he’s the same price as Staal, and a much better player. Would be contingent on him signing an extension first. We also get the 11th overall pick.

When all is said and done, Leafs walk away with Hanifin (3rd overall), 2nd overall, 10th overall, and 11th overall, plus a true 2C/ 3C in Eberle.

With Matthews, Eberle, Kadri, we have one of the best trips at center I. The league. We can surround them with quality wingers, and roll out three credible scoring lines.

Sign Maroon for depth. Put him on third line instead of Grundstrom.

Carolina isn’t trading their second overall pick. But I think Eberle is great player and would be a great fit.

That trade with Carolina is crazy unfair for them. Nylander and Hanifin pretty well cancel eachother out, that means you're trading the 25th overall and pickard for the second overall. No way Carolina does that. Eberle also isn't a centre, not sure why you have him there.

I may be mistaken but I'm fairly sure that Eberle is the right winger on his line (and was with the Oilers) and that Barzal is the center!
