Don't tell me sign JVR instead. Perron has better all round game than JVR and JVR will want more money and longer term

That puts a setup guy marner on
second line and same idea not as much skill with Perron on third line

It maximizes Kapanan playing with Matthews and maximizes Brown.

Leafs can then go about fixing the blue line which needs top right hand shot very defensive to play with Reilly.

Reilly will be allowed to be a bit more offensive with Stone backing him up

Reilly can blossom more next year Gardiner just doesn't really fit anywhere anymore he can put up points but defensively it's not good.

A bit overpayment for stone adding a second with Gardiner but leafs get right guy under control and priced well next 3 seasons

Leafs could sign another free agent as well. Perron signing would only take Leafs to aprox 57 million in a 80 million salary Cap. With all RFA signed.

What other player do you put at forth line center you could sign a good player and really roll out 4 lines.

Looking more closely I pay Perron 4.5 to 5 million max this is really a huge season upgrade over any of his past seasons.

I am really looking at who best is served to take JVR spot. He need not have to be the same type of player as JVR. Standing in door step. Play maker that could max out Nylander and Brown.

You can't spell stuff right, want to bring in an old man instead of keeping the guy we have right now, want to rush Liljegren, and want to trade our second best dman for a bottom pairing scrub.

Its the same nonsensical ideas over and over. We don't need Perron, we either keep JVR or we dont. We aren't signing a UFA replacement flr him.

We aren't rushing Timothy either. he's at least 2 years away fro, full time NHL duty. don't say hell replace Carrick midway, cause that's just rushing him.

He plays 25 min a game he -11 flames are -33. We need stay at home right shot to play with Reilly. Second defencemen on top pairing we need to find.

Leafs have cash they will really fine tune this offseason looking for good deals on good players and not more than 4 years.

For one nylander will not play center he’s more of a winger if anything I’d throw Marleau in the 3rd line centersecondly why would the leafs sign a winger they have winger coming out their ass I’d rather ya our money to upgrade our d and fill the third line center spot.

Trade Zaitsev and keep Gardiner. Stone could have been had for next to nothing. All of a sudden he is an upgrade. Davidmackin stick to your day job.

Leafs can do better than overpaying an aging injury prone winger.

Stone is a pylon. I can’t think of one good reason Leafs would want him. Of all the good quality defensemen in Calgary, I don’t think we should be focusing on Stone. Calgary is also so deep in defense that they would not be wanting Gardiner in return.
