After watching Bob's draft rankings, it's looking like D - C. Foote should be available for the Leafs to draft! That is great news! Liligren may also be available, but I do believe he goes in the 10-15 area.

Not sure why the Leafs did NOT trade directly with the Wild to acquire Dumba, but nonetheless, he should be the target!

To TOR: D - M. Dumba

To LVG: D - T. Dermott + F - J. Bracco and 2018 2nd round pick

Then

Draft D - C. Foote

Next year defense line up

Rielly Dumba
Gardiner Zaitsev
Marincin Carrick

Obviously Marincin is not who we want, but he's under contract and is there until Nielsen is ready to come up. Foote goes back to Kelowna for 1 more year.

I think they could do the deal without Dermott. I like building the trade around Bracco but Dermott should make the leafs this year on the third pair.

I am ok if they do or not, but if the Leafs lose Dermott and get Dumba I am perfectly fine with that! Dumba's age goes perfect with the rebuild.

Trade Kapanen or Timashov and keep Bracco. The kid is going to be a stud in a year's time.

I disagree. Kapanen looks like he'll be really good and played well against NHL competition in rhe playoffs. Trade Bravo while his value is high.
