you would want to take back 2 unproven prospects for an established player. leafs don't have to move JVR. good contract for only 2 more years.

he scored 27 and 30 with bozak as his centre. give him a better offensive centre (stamkos/matthews) then what does he get?

you would have to replace schmaltz for jaden schwartz, 28th OA and 2nd/3rd. they can keep binnington.

JVR is worth more then people give him credit for.
