I think that's a bit much for for Barrie. Gardiner and Pitts first would do it. Maybe even throw in a 3rd to sweeten the deal.

I wouldn't give up Lindberg, he has size at 6"3 which our elite forward propects lack. Especially for another small stature player like Barrie at 5"10.

Barrie is a good player without a doubt. In my opinion, though, I don't think he' worth the above mentioned. I would take away piece or two from your proposal.

Why on earth would you give up all that for a player who's only a little bit better than Gardiner. Sure, he got 18 more points, but on a much better team and was still -17.

He will want a lot of money. Why else would Colorado want to trade him.

They want to trade him because they've stated that Roy thinks he is a 5th defenseman not a top 4, which in my opinion is ludacris, he does have some work to do defensively but he may work out under a more experienced coach like babs.
