Washington trades a couple guys that are consistently inconsistent, though both have shown flashes of brilliance at times.

Leafs strengthen LW, and still leave open the possibility of trading either Kadri or Nylander for RHD.

The main issue with this is that Marleau wants to go back to the West Coast and has a Full NTC. So I doubt he agrees to go to Washington.

Guess you missed memo Marleau wants to go back to west coast? What are you going to come back with maybe Leafs can convince to go to WSH while his family has one foot out the door headed back to SJ?

Kapanen for vrana would be fair value I think. I'm not sure the leafs would trade kappy for a LW though. Marleau for burakovsky would be unreal but it doesn't make sense for the caps to do it.
