I like everything except Montour. I'm not as high on him as some.

I don't mind Montour but not at that price. Maybe Tanev at 2 yrs is available to the leafs.

Personally I think the Leafs need another offensive Dman moving forward and I hope the Leafs would make a play on him if available.
@LL IFsir enough, but I personally think Montour would be a perfect partner for Ferraro, who is great defensively and I believe he would strive with an offensive partner (just like he did when paired with Karlsson) .
@Johnny I think it's a fair price for Montour, we all know that prices are always exaggerated during UFA season.

I don’t mind most of the targets but I believe you overpaying on both the trades and UFAs.

I don’t think we should rush Cowan.

I wasn’t impressed with Dewar’s first game at all. On the PK I felt he was a significant cause of a goal, needing to close the gap much quicker.

In my vision I waive Reaves; yes he’s been better but I don’t see the need next year.

In his place (not the 4LRW) but as a deterrent of man-handling us I’m after Zadorov and Trenin.

@Tags I agree Montour is a solid player, I just don't see the need here.

Muzzin and Brodie were not "puck moving defenceman" but they did distribute it well up ice (Brodie not so much this year) . That's more what I'd be looking at. With Mathews' and Nylander's new contracts kicking in, Brodie falling off a cliff, and Lilly being the only right hander that could be back, I'd be willing to dump a lot of assets for a top 4RHD that can actually defend.

@Rsears maybe an overpay on the trade prop, but I think the UFA signings will be close to this.
I hope Tre doesn't go after Zadorov, he will cost toooooo much for a 3rd pairing Dman. He is definitely not a top 4 IMO.
But I would love Trenin if he's available.
