Robertson you put first line I think he puts up 30 and stays healthy

Roberston hasn't played more than 38 games in any of the 3 seasons hes been a pro. Knee ligament damage, concussion, shoulder surgery. Hes imply to fragile. Holding on to any hope he can stay healty playing against MEN is a pipe dream. You want to put him on a line with Matthews and Marner two soft players already? They'd be the easiest team to hit off the puck in the league.

1967…. Do you watch hockey? Matthews is not a soft player. Marner yes…. Matthews not even close. Having said that Robertson non the first line ahead of Knies and bertuzzi isn’t likely .

Matthews had more hits in that game than any Panther (including Thachuk) . Look it up. He works his ass off and is almost impossible to push off the puck. Marner gives it away 4-5 times a game, often to avoid being hit. Anyone who would refer to matthews as soft doesn’t know hockey. There’s more to toughness than fighting and after the whistle bull. You really want him in the penalty box for roughing after every whistle?

@Bob everyone groups Mathews in with the rest of the softies because he used to be. He's really found the stronger side of his game over the years though.

Couldn’t agree more MARNER needs to go bye bye I’ve seen enough and long had enough. Many will disagree an say Marner top 3 winger in the league 100pt player blah blah all I see is a wimpy little guy who can pass retrieve a puck and is a pretty fast skater but really lacks true compete in his game and any resemblance of a backbone player making wayyyyyy to much money. Sorry, there’s other players out there that would be more clutch then Mitch imo.

Dube is an inconsistent 2nd/ 3rd line LW.
Unless a RW or ‘A’ level, RW prospect is coming back to the Leafs this trade would leave a huge hole on the right side of Leafs lineup.

To Calgary: Nylander and Niemala
To Leafs: Rasmus Andersson and Matt Coronato.
