He's not trading Matthews. I'm pretty sure part of the GM hiring process is what the plan is with keeping the core 4.

@T-buds. Yea, it would be hard to believe that the thought on the future of the core 4 wouldn't be discussed in the interview stage. That said, it doesn't meant they are all back or there is no job offer either. I would think currently they are already in discussions with Matthews and Marner's agents on what they are looking for in a new deal. It would foolish not to.
