If I were Toronto I would take this trade and run. The addition of Jarnkrok doesn't change from being added if you get Fantilli.

If I hear you correctly, you are suggesting that Anaheim should send Adam Fantilli, Mason McTavish and Troy Terry along with a 2nd round pick for:

Austin Matthews and his $11.6 million dollar contract, who becomes a FA in one year with no guarantees that he would resign with Anaheim and if he does it will cost them between $13 - $15 million annually.

Pat Verbeek would have to be under the influence of a foreign substance to do something so foolish!
