A couple trades I've thought of for the leafs

Tor: holl
Edm: janmark

Tor: 0'reilly
Stl: 1st 2023 sandin 50% of o'reilly
Arz: 25% oreilly engvall Steeves

Tor: 1st 2024 niemela or Robertson
Mtl: edmudson

First trade I saw an opportunity to move holl since we all know he's going there next year lol leafs take back janmark who hasn't played great this year but comparing his playoff numbers to guys rumoured to be on the leafs radar like laferty and or barbeshev janmark has been good play him with zar and kampf on the fourth line.

Second trade I've advocated for a bit now oreilly can play in any situation and gives the leafs a 4 pack of centres not many can match gonna take a third party to make money work sandin goes back the other way leafs resign oreilly

Last trade I was thinking about a lot idk if the habs agree to trade him in the division but I mean the did with chiraot edmudson is probably the closest thing to muzzin that's available 6'5 200+ gonna cost tho and Idk if shanny lets dubas sell that pick.

Number don't work perfectly but if the leafs waive Simmonds benn and the marlies players it's close

Not even close comparisons. Oreilly is an over 30 UFA. Chychrun is a top pairing D under contract for two more seasons at a great cap hit. Crouse also under contract and much younger than oreilly.

Still a huge over payment the reason oreilly will cost a pretty penny is for one St. Louis is retaining half his cap hit and he also is still one of the top two way centres in the league crouse is a third liner so you’re saying chychrun is worth all our top prospects.

Wow…this is “fantasy hockey” in its purest form. ?

Even the most diehard fan couldn’t suspend reality enough to even consider this as a realistic opportunity.

The leafs have less than 300k cap space. You’re not adding major pieces with this yard sale.

O’Rielly is the last guy I want the Leafs to trade for. We need a power forward that forechecks, is not afraid to go to the net, hits like a freight train and isn’t afraid to drop the gloves.
Timo Meier checks all these boxes. O’Rielly zero!

Huge overpayment for O’Reilly whose best hockey can only be viewed in the rear view mirror.
O’Reilly is one player I really do not want to see on the Leafs unless it is for a future 2nd or 3rd round pick.
After 65 years of watching and cheering for the Leafs I would cry if they were to make any one of these trades let alone all of them!

Fantasy trading? …. That’s what this site is if you haven’t clued in I guess a lot of people on here think O’reilly is washed but if you simply look at his playoff numbers and his defensive metrics it would show you he’s not he’s more than just someone who is gonna put up points. The leafs can’t trade 5 depth players and get a star player it has never happened and never will lol.
