Muzzin to Columbus for future considerations.

Holl, Niemela, Kerfoot & a 2nd rd pick in 2023 for Chychurin. With Arizona eating half of Chychurin contract.

Patrick Kane to Toronto for Robertson, Abruzzesse, Hirvonen & a 1st rd pick in 2023. With Chicago eating half of Kane contract.

Leafs sign Subban to a team friendly 1 yr deal

Bunting Matthews Marner
Nylander Tavares Kane
Knies Kampf Engvall
Steeves Jarnkrok Aube-Kubel

Reilly Brodie
Chychurin Liljegren
Giordano Subban

Murray Samsonov

* Florida adding Tckachuk an improvement, though Huberdeau a very good player. Ottawa adding Giroux, Debrincat & Talbot along with their core of young talent, is certainly also improved. Detroit & Buffalo have also improved this offseason, the Leafs not so much & if goaltending goes sideways they very well could have a losing season & thereafter lose Matthews. Huge gamble particularly to rectify 20 games in, due to those cap constraints by overpaying on shorter term deals for Matthews & Marner a huge huge mistake. Some bold moves are needed immediately, not just a bunch of signings & hope for another Bunting. Dubas will sink Shannahan & Keefe, expect new management & the trading of Matthews in 2023.

Wow, a Kennedy prop I can see happening.

Why do you like Kane so much though? You a closet Hawks fan?

I don't see any of the deals happening, but they are not far off either imo. Weird to see about 80% of the team intact at the end of a Kennedy prop. lol.

Columbus just had to give away bjorkstrand for nothing because they have no cap space.

Leafs Life

Patrick Kane @ 33 still has lots left both in skill & leadership, last season Kane accumalated 92 points in 78 games. 15th highest scorer in the league in 2021 / 2022, previously 2020/ 2021 Kane 7th, 2019/ 2020 Kane 8th, 2018/ 2019 Kane 3rd in league scoring. 3 stanley cup so obviously a winning pedigree, an instrumental component in all 3 Cup victories a superstar. So a hockey IQ in the same neighbourhood as Marner, Kane also can play in all situations creating takeaways and time & space for his teamates with dazzling stickwork. Also has a history of durability like a Phil Kessel, who if willing to take a team friendly 1 or 2 year deal Kessel would be a good 3rd line signing. Phil the thrill could fill in a top 6 role, doing so for short term assignments because of injuries. Tavares would score 40 + goals playing with Kane, many similarities as to playing with Marner. Skillset, stick work & hockey IQ super similar between Kane & Marner, skating wise the edge work from Marner along with say a Makar, McKinnon, Crosby or a McDavid is a league above mere mortals lol. Kane is no slouch & super solid on his skates, & maybe gets the nod over Marner as a goal scorer. All but 1 season Kane has had 20 + goals, Kane always a great weapon on the PP, with 44 & 46 goals being career best years. Based on history & good health next season Patrick Kane will still play at a ppg pace, & he will be in the top 20 in league scoring. I am a fan of great hockey players Patrick Kane is still that, Chicagos emblem is cool & back in the day I liked Stan Mikita, Bobby Hull & Tony Espisito. To answer your question no not a Hawks fan, sadly I am a Leafs fan. Lol

Below Patrick Kane stats last 7 seasons So counter question what is not to like related to Patrick Kane, especially Leafs have a win now ideology? Core players Nylander, Tacares, Matthews, Marner & Reilly would all benefit from the addition of Patrick Kane. Top two lines would dominate, without the dramatic dropoff from 1st to 2nd line as seen last season.
