3 Team Trade Proposal.

Anaheim
Dermott (Tor)
2nd Round Pick 2022 (Tor)

San Jose
NRitchie (Tor)

Toronto
EKane (SJ)

In this proposal Toronto would send NRitchie to San Jose with EKane plus 50% of his remaining contract retained by The Sharks going to Anaheim.

Than Toronto would send Dermott and their 2nd Round Pick 2022 to The Ducks for EKane plus 50% of his remaining contract.

Toronto would get EKane at 1.75m a year for the remainder of his Contract.

San Jose ends the EKane soap opera and get an NHL Player out of it, Anaheim adds to their Defence getting Dermott plus a 2nd Rounder, and The Leafs get a Top 6 LW that might backfire, but I believe it's worth the risk in the end, plus Cap Space with Mikheyev and Mrazek about to return to fit both in.

Not bad I think he is a big addition to this team plays big and isn’t afraid to shoot the puck.

This leaf team is so close to a cup. I’m trying to really see what piece they need most Bunting is just starting to get the feel for playing with Marner and Matthews. The party for Bunting is just starting.

The second line is fine untouched Kerfoot Tavares Nylander. Nylander is having his breakout season I think he finishes with 90 points

The third line the left winger could be upgraded but you don’t need. Ev Andre Kane. The left winger on the third line needs to be a defensive juggernaut who can score a little ————- Kampf. Kase

The Roth line is fine RIchie Spezza Simmons in a perfect world you want to trade Richie and bring in a better defensive player I would put Engvall on the forth line with spezza and Simmons

So the trade must be Richie and the first rounder 2022 for a perfect 3rd line winger whoever that might be.

@DM. I agree for the most part except the last two sentences. Ritchie has been better of late and I think his size and strength will be a plus for the Leafs in the playoffs. I wish they would teach him how to use it to his advantage more.
A Kerfoot replacement is what I think they should look for. Preferably a young guy who can play both wing or centre. Kerfoot if moved, will likely happen in the off-season and having a replacement in house already would be a bonus.
These guys would have different trade values, but the kind of guys that don't cost a lot cap wise and might fill a Kerfoot type of role next season.
