Toronto trades Kerfoot to Anaheim for 3rd in 2020

Toronto signs ufas, Jesper Fast (RW) Patrick Maroon (net presence, good hands,and size), T. Hamerlik (RD)

If Vegas signs Lendher then Toronto could trade lilyigren, Kasashiou (G) and a 4th 2020, to Vegas for Marc Andre Fleury as they up against the cap

Then trade F. Anderson to Calgary for Sam Bennett or M.Jamkowski and a 1st 2020
Or to Carolina for Pesce (then not sign Hamerlik)

Fleury is getting up there in age. there are other goalie options that would probably come cheaper.

If you want to take advantage of someone throw out some seriously one sided trades targeting Pitts. They are against the cap and I read an article that ownership wants them down to 72.5 this year. Going to be probably 15 teams in the same situation.

I wouldn't look for cap casualties as much as real money ones.

Who is T. Hamerlik? I can't find him anywhere. Closest I came across is some guy named Matyas playing LHD in the Czech league.

Nylander for ekblad as the center piece in this trade is a great idea. 5 years at 7.5 and only being 24 makes more sense than going after petro. Yes it costs nylander and with ekblads injury history is risky but take the risk. lthe reward may be huge

Both contracts have signing bonuses. ekblad is 4 and nylander 3.5 so doing deal before bonuses is best for florida

4 years 6.9 cap hit 24.5 owed 6.25 AAV nylander
5 years 7.5 cap hit 35 owed 7 AAV ekblad

Due to injury history and 11.5 million actual money more owed plus .7 more cap hit nylander might have more value. however, if rosen is the only extra ask and florida is good with that i wouldn't risk florida saying no.

Columbus deal is risky for both teams so might be a go . anderson is 6 months older and needs to be signed while johnsson can just show up and play. some times having player under contract is more valuable than the time wasted on dealing with an agent over new contract.

Aniheim deal. if kappy as a winger 2 years younger than kerfoot with same type numbers and same type contract gets 1st and prospect. i'm sure kerfoot could get a 3rd plus a prospevt or a 2nd. centers who kill penelties hold more value than wingers doing same thing. differance is kappy is still rfa after contract up while kerfoot is not. lthats why no 1st can be in this deal. but definetly more than just a 3rd

Signing fast is a good suggestion. maroon not so much. hamonic not a bad signing if under 3 million

The rest is too many what ifs

Overall not bad suggeśtions.
