I believe that is a massive over pay for Manson but nonetheless I would do it. I can't stand Johnson. I again, am one of those different people that never liked him. He is a turnover machine. Manson should go for the third alone based on recent play but if it costs this I do it.

Timashov I want to keep. He's like Rudy. He's a small guy but man does he have the fire in his belly. He's a guy that hits like he's 6 inches taller and 50 lbs heavier. He is an effoeyt, energy player and I personally love it. I have seen Dubas move to many of them for my liking already.

I totally agree, would love to see somebody pick up Johnsson. I also love Manson. Timashov not quite enough to land Glen.

Glendening just isn’t worth giving up Timashov for imo. We could probably get him for a late round pick. That makes a lot more sense to me. Timashov is playing, and playing well. There’s no telling what a pick can ever turnnout to be. Even a 1st has less than 50% chance of ever becoming an nhl player. There are always way more busts than guys that develop to meet expectations. Otherwise we would have a league full of first round picks and not much else. If we trade for a depth guy like Glendening, we pay for him in picks/ b-prospects. That’s probably more of what a re-build Detroit would be wanting anyway.
