The first thing I notice is that we would now have Barrie, Simmonds, Manson on RHD. That’s one big name too many. We can’t have a 3RHD sucking up over $4M. And all those guys would be $4M+.

The second thing I noticed is how much you are willing to offer for Manson. I like Manson and think he is a good player. But you are offering significantly more for him than you are for Subban. And you are asking NJ to retain salary on Subban AND take a cap dump in Ceci. I just don’t see it happening. You are offering way too much for Manson, and not enough for Subban considering the retention and cap dump.

I read this post wrong. I should wait until I’ve had a cup of coffee or two before replying. Simmonds, not Subban. Lol. My bad. I don’t know how the heck I made that mistake. My reply was nonsense, and should be ignored. Ridicule is acceptable and expected considering how silly that mistake was.

I don’t think New Jersey would retain but i don’t think we would need them too if they take ceci and Bracco makes the cap hits a wash and for manson you might have to move another player to make it work cap wise but the value isn’t bad I can see them moving kappy too probably before they move Johnsson.

Why wouldn't they retain? They don't care. It's a year where they tank again. Cap hit means nothing until next year for them.
