I've been barking about getting Reilly's stock up high enough this year that hopefully at some point we could 1-for-1 it.

Hell, if they can get a 1st for OEL somewhere else, I'd be ok with packaging Reilly, COLs 1st, and the 1st from OEL for both Dunn and Wright.

Now, the Leafs would still need to figure out another LHD if OEL goes, but I think we're still a net upgrade after such a deal.

LL, Let's not forget that Rad had Kich down low or off to the side feeding him. Kuch created ample space for Raddysh whereas Matthews is down low/off to the same side looking more for the one timer.

Feeding Raddy from the Left D is a hard, dangerous pass, something Morgan imo is weak at: passes and holding the line when the bodychecks are incoming on him.

Maybe Matthews needs to open up the down low and trust Raddy to find a sweet spot where his boomer can become more available from the backend.



Psssst not saying Matthews has to do that all the time because if he sees the shot, he will take it.

Imo, I wouldn't mind seeing Gavin on the pp, setting up where Kucherov did letting Matthews just zoom around, find space and leave space for others.

Raddy's boomer has to be implemented more often.

They blamed Raddysh for the goals against Montreal. Ffs Reilly was just standing still on those two goals. He is terrible and needs to go at any cost.

@Thatguy I agree completely on that TB PP being very different. Nobody on the Leafs PP will ever be Kuch and it did help a lot.

I'd also like to see that shot coming in more, but I want JT off that 1st PP. He just had not handled it well through two games imo.

@LL Swap JT with McKenna. Have McKenna be on the RW boards like Kuch. Get Matthews below the goal line. And shift around for 1 timers like Tampa power play.

@Hrenklin I like that idea as well. That second PP has looked way better than 1PP imo.
