Elliott Friedman said he believes Chayka will acquire Karlsson at some point. I'm not really sure how he has the assets or cap space for this, but ultimately I wouldn't be happy with it anyway. Raddysh has his deficiencies defensively and shod be QB of the pp with that much money spent on him. Why Karlsson now?

I’m totally on the fence with this Reilly 100 percent is part of the package going back, my problem is could Reilly out produce Karlsson at millions lest and 32 years old, I think that’s possible especially under the circumstances that he may actually be deployed properly.

Ya, I don’t know, you have years of 7.5 million in Reilly locked in and if he gets 40 points next year I think the Leafs look like idiots.

So, as long as we don’t resign him to some large extension that runs on par or further then Reilly's I think we’re fine. We get out from under both one by Reilly’s trade and EK by next summer with cap flexibility and new targets.

I said if Reilly outscores and outperforms Karlsson, we look dumb for paying the difference in cap space and lost a player that was locked up.

In what fn world is Rielly getting more points than Karlsson ???? I would do this swap in a heartbeat. U have one guy coming off the books after this season and the other still on them for another 3 seasons it’s a no brainer just for that reason alone.
