Does the Tkatchuk trade change what we think Knies is worth at this point?

3 1sts (one in top 10) and a 2nd for a guy who gave a small list of teams.

Knies gets a similar amount of points, is younger and makes less money.

In that world, what would a Mathews return be if this is another poor year and it's decided he needs to be moved?

Like they r saying Chayka would need to be blown away to trade Knies. Does a return like that get it done? I believe not. He wants more than just picks. NHL ready player that addresses an important need positionally plus an elite prospect plus high draft pick or picks.

I feel bad for Ottawa, they finally looked like a playoff team and are forced to start over basically. I hope the Leafs are paying attention to how quickly these little boys can turn on you.
