I agree with Shanacant on the GM’s hanging up. Except the Rangers one…. Which is a horrible one for Toronto. We would be giving up Nylander and arguably our 2nd best D-man in McCabe and Stolarz and we are getting back Lafreniere (who I do like) and a D-man who has played 36 games in the NHL and quite frankly has underwhelming scouting assessments.

The 2 first round picks depending on the Rangers rebuild we might not see until 2029, 2030 because they would want them Top 10 protected and there is a good chance they end up in the top 10.

Too much to unpack here, but you’re definitely not getting Bouchard for Reilly and Woll.

Two 1st round picks plus Misa and Dickenson for a broken down Matthews.
Matthews would be only a 2nd line center behind Cellibrini.
Why would San Jose give up a haul like that for a 2nd line center.
Can’t imagine Grier would have any interest in doing that.
