So if Edmonton gets taken out by Anaheim in this series. Is this the Year Edmonton gets blown up? They have 8 spots to fill with only $16 million cap. Their biggest need is a Top Goalie. So are they going to try to do a trade with one of the Big two if this scenario happens and they are gone? I would love to scoop Nugent-Hopkins out of their arms but he has a very affordable contract they might not want to part with.

It is a mess there and it might have to be a tear down. So which team has the assets and cash to go after McDavid, Draisatl or Bouchard? The fans there are getting restless.

McDavid has to be getting restless himself. That is horrible situation to be in right now. Trading Skinner for Jarry alone should be a fireball offense. That was one of the strangest trades I have ever seen.

I also have to add, they need more than a goaltender. They cannot defend. I been watching some of those games and feeling better about the Leafs team D suddenly somehow. They could bring George Vezina and Patrick Roy in as goalies and would make no difference if they cannot get it together defensively.

The Oilers almost remind me of the Dubas Leafs. They signed Nurse to a contract that is aging badly, are far to reliant on a handful of highly paid guys to score and cannot defend. On that note, they even pick up every ex-Leaf they can find after they get run out of town.

Hit send too early.

Not interested in Bouchard as the offense in Toronto still doesn't concern me.

If McDavid or Drais are willing to come I would throw whatever they wsnt at one of those guys. That said, what can you really offer? If those two hit the market (especially McDavid) I can't imagine the return.

RNH for Knies would have to be what it's built around should he become available. I don't see any other way to get it done.
