Love the drafting but don’t care for the trade.

Chychrun is a LHD while Leafs are in desperate need of RHD.
Chychrun is not very good defensively as his team leading -30 would indicate.
This is Chychrun’s last year on his team friendly contract and on July 1st he will be expecting a long term extension with a sizable increase in pay.
Chychrun has serious injury issues with this season being the first in his career that Chychrun has managed to play in more than 68 games.
2022 - 23 - 48 games
2021 - 22 - 47 games
2020 - 21 - 56 games
2019 - 20 - 63 games
2018 - 19 - 53 games
2017 - 18 - 50 games
2016 - 17 - 68 games

This is definitely not what Leafs need if Marner agrees to be traded.

Shoulda quit while you were ahead. Marner wouldn’t waive to Ottawa and you think they would add 2- 1st rd picks to that as well? I think you are overvaluing the Leafs players a bit too much.
