I agree that this isn't a great dcore but it isn't terrible. Lybushkin played very well with reilly and if synergy is there between 2 players then it doesn't really matter what space in the lineup he's projected to be. If the leafs can swing tkachuk out of ottawa you do it he's unreal. There are some potential d targets in free agency such as zadorov but the leafs would have to move out more cap.

I doubt very much Utah trades their #1 goaltender, Ingram.
Just sign Broissoit or Stolarz.

Reilly - Lyubushkin?
Reilly is liable to quit playing hockey if Leafs don’t finally acquire a suitable partner for him.
Lyubushkin is certainly not that!
