The new look leafs look not bad at all. Always liked Lucic. he was a leaf killer and if he comes back to the east he may actually get back to becoming a beast. at 3 million he looks good now. Problem I have is edmonton paying 3.95 for Leivo. then 3 million for 4 more years after. perfect deal for Peter. lol. he may actually consider it.

If getting Faulk is your target this deal may do it. I seriously don't so I'll just say I'll give it to you

Colombus dealing Jenner for 1 year of Gardiner is a tough pill to swallow. It's possible Colombus doesn't want Murray and this could be a way to get rid of him. so if that I see true then good deal

It's tough to see his many deals happening but if it can be pulled off the team looks much better in my opinion.

BigWilly. I absolutely love your trades. Every day you give me something to think about.

I can see by the Edmonton trade that you really want to help alleviate Oiler’s cap pressure. You want to do this by taking Lucic off their hands. As Lucic is still the better player than Leivo, then Leafs win the trade, right? Well, not exactly. Lol. Lucic has exactly one point more than Leivo this year, and looks like he is a buyout candidate, as even $3M looks like an overpayment for Lucic right now when we get the exact same production from Leivo for fraction of the price.

The Faulk trade I love. Gets us out of Zaitsev’s contract and all it costs is a 2nd. Plus we get Faulk for a year and a half. It’s a damn good trade if Carolina would go for it. The Columbus trade I absolutely am in love with. It’s highway robbery. I love Jenner’s grit. A real blue collar hockey player, he doesn’t screw around. Get’s our there every night and knows what his job is, and does his job very well. Murray is questionable as 1RD. Lol. I’d probably put Faulk there. But hey, I’m not a fantasy team coach, just GM.

Willy. Fantastic. That Boone Jenner boy, isn’t he something? He would make a fantastic Leaf. I can see him now decked in blue and white. It wouldn’t suit him well I think.
