To Toronto: pesce and gauthier
To Carolina: Nylander and this years first.

I don’t see the point in trading the 1st for Gauthier. Carolina needs forward prospect players, and if they traded Gauthier for a 1st, they would just have to redraft someone for Gauthiers position. Seems redundant to me.

Nylander for Pesce is good. If you want to trade the pick for another prospect player, I would recommend either Fleury or Bean. Both are cheap and are low on a very deep Carolina defensive depth chart. They would fill in gaps on Leafs team with Gardiner and Hainsey both leaving after this year.

Leafs give up far too much in Gauthier and a 1st for Esce and Gauthier.
Nylander and Leivo or a 2nd should be more than sufficient.

For Nylander and a 1st Leafs receive Pesce and Necas!

What is the infatuation with Gauthier on this site? He’s big. And that’s about all he is. Unimpressive at AHL level so far and can’t crack Carolina’s lineup should tell you something. We don’t need wingers.

Frederik Gauthier and Josh Leivo should be demoted to the AHL or traded for low end draft picks because they both suck the bag!
