I wish, but if we trade Nylander we should trade for a defenceman or at least keep Gardiner.

Well my thinking here was Babs recently said how good Ozhiganov has look so far so if he pans out make Gardiner expandable but at the end of the day like every other trade on this site probably would never happen but one can dream.

Leafs would be foolish not to make that trade.

Gardiner is as good as gone, and if recent history has shown us anything, it’s likely we let him walk at seasons end and don’t trade him. If we could package him with Nylander for a player of Rantanen’s caliber, you better be sure we would jump on that rather than lose Giveaway for nothing.
