To canes-JVR, Timishov, and a second

(Possibly add in a player like kap or dermott)

Gives the leafs a stay at hope top 2 and the canes a veteran in his prime a pick and some young guys to build around in addition to their rebuilding team

Can we sit tight right now we have something special. Mid season we can tinker with line up this could be Stanley cup year. If you stop mcdavid you stop Edmonton if you stop Matthews you don't stop leafs .

I would love to have Faulk, but let's not get carried away. To Canes= JVR + Leivo + lower end prospect, no picks, I don't like giving picks away if anything a 7th round pick instead of lower end prospect, Canes can choose which. This makes both teams better now and in the long run. Good chance Canes will be able to resign JVR because of his brother being there and I believe he may sign for less with them then anywhere else because of TVR.

This Faulk thread is like watching a rerun. It's already been done a number of times.

Carolina is looking to make the playoffs this year as they've added some pieces. Faulk is a key cog in their defence and they would be foolish to give him up. Carolina can't keep missing the playoffs if they want to sell tickets. This team is going to make a push to get in and Faulk will be leading the way on the blue line.
