Blu4Evr what would you propose? Give up garbage to get gold? Let me guess, you would think Komarov alone could get you Tanev? Right? Think salary cap. Think about getting a top 4 D-Man. Gardiner is a mid D-Man at best.

Why does everybody make such complicated trades? Leafs need a RHD, it will cost them a 2-3 pieces. Hopefully, JVR and a pick or prospect.

JVR himself is worth a 1st and a prospect. So the value to add on top of him to get a top tier RHD should not be too significant.

NylanderMagic, Tanev has only been a full time NHLer for 5 seasons, never playing more than 70 games. Wouldn't even do Jvr straight up for him.

Nylander "Magic" - without doing anything else, why would we even consider giving up one of our top four "D" guys (plus 3/ 4 of our team) just for one so-so "D" man.

Sorry man / woman but you are way, way out of line in how you rate players value. Personally, I have not interest in trading with Vancouver.

Get a 1st and A prospect for JVR and then turn around and use same assets to get rhd. Maybe add another prospect

Tanev is not that great. If he is being shopped he's not worth trading for.
Leafs pass 100% Just Garbage.
I enjoy reading this site but recently I haven't seen a decent proposal. With the exception of of a few.
