TOR: JVR (50%), Bracco, 2nd Rd Pick (59th)
VAN: Tanev, 2nd Rd pick (36th)

*Price for Tanev will be high. They will only consider moving him for a legit hockey trade. This may not even be enough. Although Manson may seem like the missing piece to the Leafs organization, he will no doubt be protected and ducks will look to move Vatanen instead.
Tanev has already proven to be a near perfect partner for Reilly as they both excelled together at the international level.
& with the right grinder on Matthews line he has potential to produce even more than this last season.

I think that's way too much! Eliminate Bracco and I think it would be a fair deal as Leafs are retaining salary.

Tanev is not worth JVR alone, no way Lou also throws in Bracco too.

You're right, throwing in Bracco is unnecessary. Just seems like that's what it'll take to pry Tanev from the Canucks. JVR retained and then swap 2nds would be fair I think.
And roctopus, JVR is absolutely worth Tanev alone. He has a year left at 4.2 then will need to be resigned for more. Tanev is locked in at 4.4M for the next 3 seasons, which is a very cheap price for a highly sought after RHD. Tanev isn't a point producer everyone knows that. But his defensive play will allow Reilly to play more offensively which is what he's good at.

Tanev seems injury prone. Not somebody i'd be comfortable aquiring. Petrovic is a similar played i'd rather have. Just my opinion.
