Toronto gets Manson, Bieksa, and a pick

Anaheim gets JVR, Carrick and a pick improvement.

Trading Bieksa and Manson allows the ducks to protect Vatanen, Lindholm and Fowler. They would also be able to protect JVR. Toronto gets much needed toughness on the blue line as well as taking on Bieksa's contract. Hopefully next year Kapanen can fill jVRs spot.

so you want us to give up a better pick, carrick and JVR for manson and a cap dump? even if it was just JVR for all that i would still say no. this doesn't benefit the leafs.

@Itook.

Do you even watch the Leafs? You want a RW rookie to fill a top LW vets position.

You must be Bob Murray, and you're pissed off about trading away Anderson and taking in two former Leaf goalies.

aq is right. JVR alone is worth much more than that.

Both Dmen are 3rd line pair at best. You seriously over evaluate their skill.

And the picks?

Seriously?

You make me laugh. Your defending the dumb trade from buds to the max and now you call bieska and Manson 3rd liners.

@ 4fanlife

Your lack of understanding of that trade is amazing, and what you last wrote shows that you don't have comprehension of the expn draft rules, or a sense of the cap restrictions in today's NHL.

Nowhere did I say that Bieksa and Manson are 1st or 2nd pair. They are clearly 3rd pairings.

Name how that's a dumb trade to the Buds; or for the Ducks. Your garbled replies didn't make much sense.
