Defenceman are expensive folks I think it's enough and leafs don't lose any major prospects

I like this trade. Timashov would probably have to be replaced with someone more likely to make the NHL. Change him for Bracco? It's a lot to give up but, Lindholm is worth it. We'd have three great LHD, one great RHD, carrick developing and one whole to fill, unless we resign Polack. Lindholm could jump onto right side for power plays or penalty kills as babs see fit.

I'd still prefer to sign Shattenkirk and keep JVR tho.
