I mean why not everyone wants to get oel strome Dvorak domi duclair 2 first rounders for Matthews. and that's just to get lou to listen apparently! I'm sure if we ask them really nicely they would hand it over and start there rebuild all over again. maybe call themselves the Arizona Auston Matthews? c'mon people let's use our brains before we post. A modification to your trade.

Prior to the draft trade the #1 pick to Columbus for the #3 + top D prospect + extras.

Move the Yotes to Markham before the draft.

Arizona doesn't care about hockey. Never will. Matthews or not.

GTA needs another team, but not stuck in the center of the downtown hole.

As compensation for another team in the GTA - The Leafs get Dvorak and the Yote's get Lupul.

The Leafs can then draft Tkachuk. (You can see where I am headed with this, if not, go watch baseball).

Stamkos will definitely sign in Markham at that point.

Tavares in Toronto next.

Yes, this would be so cool, but it would never happen (or would it; see Thrashers, Grizzlies, and Expos to name a few). All went to city's located very close to other cities with teams after failing.

The NHL needs better policies concerning restructuring to correct situations where teams are failing, but that's another topic.

Yes its insane what people are saying, but if you're going to give away a franchise player that makes a franchise, you're going to need a franchise back. Pick will not moved.
