Two 1st round picks plus Topi Niemala for Chychrun a defenseman who spends as much time in the infirmary as he does on the ice?
Chychrun is big but not physical.
Chychrun is at best a second pairing defenseman.
Chychrun is a LHD while Leafs greatest need is a right hand defenseman.
I would not make that trade!

Pearson has 1 goal - 4 assists and is a -9 so far this season.
I do not see how this is an upgrade over Engvall who, though not scoring, is far better defensively and on PK than Pearson.
Again, not a trade I would be interested in.

I would rather see a Chychrun than an already aged Schenn. Schenn has a ton of experience but Chychrun is big and he has control. I would not give the farm for him though.
