Look I know I may be the only leaf fan who has this opinion but to be honest I still believe in it. I really don't believe we overplayed Nylander. I truly believe that Nylander will have a good season this year as long as he gets to play with Matthews. Playing him with Marleau is pointless because personally I think he should retire. Anyway, I think where we have to save some cap is in our depth. So this is what I would do this offseason.

Buffalo trade Guhle and 1st for Montour, so the offer here is about right. I’d rather have Montour, who is proven, then Sandin, who is still a question mark.
