Ok a bit of a rant here so last night was just unacceptable sick or not you got to come to play. We have a good team but not a playoff team I continue you to pull my hair out watching this team defensively they have this habit of throwing lemons down the middle in their own end and we are way too soft when we got Muzzin and I saw his first two games I thought finally we got a guy that likes to throw the body since then he's looked the total opposite makes you wonder if it's the coaching staff telling then to play like this but if we play like this against Boston it's not even worth watching. You can't be mad at dubas his first year as gm he has put this team in a good spot yes his cap hits kinda suck but you pay your stars. Who I'm starting to strongly dislike and a lot of fans can agree is Babcock he's been givin a great team but he's too stubborn he never changes anything up and Steve dangle said it best he always sets it up for failure for example Mathews and Nylander last night you try that when you're playing the best team in the league why not vs Edmonton or a weaker team. Also give kadri a role last year he was a shutdown line and he played amazing probably his best year as a leaf this year he kinda looks lost and has no purpose and you see that in his numbers.

What I think the leafs lineup should be in playoffs

Hyman Tavares Marner
Kapanen Matthews Nylander
Johnnson kadri Moore
Marleau Gauthier Ennis
Brown

Rielly Muzzin
Gardiner dermott
Hainsey Zaitzev

Interesting post. No trade involved, so I’m a little surprised it was put up on the main page and not in the Leafs Talk section.

You got to start to wonder if maybe it’s a little to do with the coaching. But at the same time, you need to realize we didn’t address our main deficiencies either. Leafs aren’t “tough” enough to beat Bruins. And from the looks of it, we aren’t skilled enough to beat Lightning either. Lightning’s top players are better than Leafs top players. Simple as that. Stamkos, Point, Kucherov, are a better trio than Tavares, Matthews, Marner. Simple as that. And Boston’s best guys are intimidating and still have the skill to skate fancy.

Leafs need a couple bodies to strengthen the back end and maybe one more up front that can hit. Most important though, the team needs to start playing defense.

Yes I agree I was just getting at that the leafs don’t play hard hockey they let other teams walk all over them so in my opinion either coaching change needs to happen or some how we need to address our physicality and our weak spots.
