I like it. Not sure Edmonton does. They already have Lucic and his boat anchor contract. Do they really want Zaitsev too? Besides, Chiarelli brought in a handful of defensemen before he got fired. Edmonton might be looking to dump defenders, but not Nurse, and probably won’t want another in return.

Sucks losing Johnsson, but for Nurse, it’s a no-brainer. If Edmonton was willing to formulate a trade based around Nurse and Johnsson without the exchange of deadline weight, it would be a very interesting proposition.

As always ARENSP, I loved the thought of this proposal. You obviously have a passion for the game, and you really know your stuff. Without doubt, you are a true Leafs fan. You bleed blue and white. It’s guys like you that make this forum so enjoyable and gives an old widower like myself something to do.

I like this deal. johnsson edmonton will be all over. theyd love him. unfortunetly zaitsev may not be what edmonton wants. however if you don't ask youll never know.

I hate saying this over and over but edmonton and more importantly McDavid may ask for Brown and Dermott in any deals involving Toronto. yes, i said McDavid as all deals involving edmonton now go through McDavid due to mess edmonton is in. he wants guys he can play with and the 2 i brought up he can most definetly play with.

Just a thought. other than that thought your deal us definetly a good one.
