Tor: gardiner Bracco tymashov 1st
Ott: Duchene

Tor: kapanen Liljegren brown
Car: Hamilton

These trades don't help with grit but we add more skill lots of it Duchene is a rental then he can go back to Ottawa after this season Hamilton is an investment yes you don't wanna lose kappy but it's either that or another first round exit

Hyman Mathews Duchene
Nylander Tavares marner
Marleau Kadri Johnsson
Moore gauthier Lindholm

Reilly Hamilton
Hainsey Zaitsev
Dermott Ozhiganov

Take Bracco out of the Duchene deal. Gardiner for Duchene is alsomst a wash out anyways, add the 1st and Timashov, and the leafs are being generous.

Again I would like to target someone other then Hamilton. He isn't having the best season so honestly if I were Dubas, I would look elsewhere unless Carolina's ask drops in value.

@mostleafs gardiner for Duchene is far from a wash Duchene has 45 pts this year compared to gardiners 24 I think Bracco is a good player but no
Sense in keeping a guy who is just going to keep being push down in the system Ottawa is going to want futures and the leafs can do that.

As for the second trade yes Hamilton is having a ruff year so far but I still think he brings a lot to the leafs the only other player that could be as good of a pickup would be Parayko and I think his price tag would be even higher. who do you suggest the leafs target for a defencemen?

Man Bracco is the next Kappy ok, we need this guy, he will be cheaper then any of the guys the leafs have right now. I can't believe how under estimated he is. The guy is almost at a point per game pace in the AHL this year 37 points in 38 games. That's better then Trevor Moore. He will make the leafs next year, and I fully stand by my word. We may even see him get the Johnsson treatment and get called up for the playoffs.

Also Gardiner is a defencemen, you can't compare him through points. If your doing it that way then Duchene is way better then Hamilton and the leafs should only trade a 1st for him. See what I mean?

Yes I see what your saying with gardiner and Duchene but I still think the leafs would have to add more than gardiner as for Bracco I would love to see him get a shot with the leafs but I just don’t see where he gets put in the line up putting him on the fourth line doesn’t benefit anyone in my opinion ps Bracco is nothing like kapanen Bracco is a play maker is lol.

I don’t know if comparing Bracco to Kapanen is fair. A comparison to Brown may be more apt. I think he has the potential to be a very good nhl player. And I hope he gets his chance next season. Unfortunately, as Leafs1994 pointed out, we don’t really have any room for him, and may be a couple years before we do. Brown already is a wasting asset on the fourth line, and at over $2M, he is overpaid and overqualified for that role. I would hate to have same thing happen with Bracco. Both these guys deserve a better opportunity to play more more. Just might not be for the Leafs is all.

why do the leafs need more forwards there is literally no where to put them in the line up if your going to get something go for D and I love how leaf fans are wanting to get rid of nylander bc of a bad start. he's playing catch up against all these guys in mid season form and he's starting to get chances people need to grow up and not cry when someone doesn't play well. Matthews has 1 goal in like his last 10. is it time to trade him to?
