Vrana is a really good player. He instantly makes that 3rd line a lot more dangerous than Kapanen or Johnsson would have. He is only on a one year bridge though and is RFA next year. If he comes here and bangs in 30 goals like he probably should, we might run into serious difficulty keeping him, Hyman, and finding a replacement for Andersen (assuming he doesn’t come back) . It might come down to a choice between him or Hyman next year. Tough call. Vrana would be the better choice, but losing Hyman as a cap casualty would likely be a by-product Of this trade. That might be a little harder to digest.

The thought of Marner setting up Ovie is scary. Although with Ovie needing a new deal and the money they already paid Backstrom and Carlson long term, not sure Caps do it. They also love Wilson.

Ovie and the Cap players would revolt if they traded Wilson, and their GM probably understands that.

Manner on his own is wirth more but if you add in kuzy and or Kempny then maybe but I doubt they trade mariner.
