I wouldn't personally trade all of Mathews Marner and Nylander. My feeling is and always has been that Marner is the odd man out. Two world class centres making 11m and so is Marner. I would prefer to take back at least some picks though as this draft is super stacked. That said, fair trade for Marner and Nylander. Mathews you could actually probably get more.

Lol. I was expecting some backlash from this crazy prop. Though to be honest, I donâ€™t think I accomplished what I was hoping to do. I was wanting to load the team with youth. Picks/ prospects. But because of their salaries I had to take guys back withequal cost. Iâ€™m going to re-work it and see if I can come closer to what I really wanted. A team of a-prospects ready to tear up the league.

I love it. I love the thought at least. I think a retool would make the leafs better, balance them out more I guess. I fully supper getting some more youth (at needed positions defensive dman etc) and picks. I think that could be done by moving out expiring deals though. Like muzzin (try and resign of coarse) Barrie etc.

I like the idea of retooling but not with Dubas at the helm. No faith in him building a balanced roster or negotiating fair contracts to fit in under the cap.

Flyers would never trade all 3 for Austin Matthews. You'd be lucky to even get 2 of those guys.
