Hell no to both trades! Kapanen is too good to give up. With the 2 trades yesterday, I'm pretty sure this is the team the Leafs are going to camp with.

Anyone think they haven’t actually put pen to paper yet with Ceci as they still have a chance to sign gardiner? Would rather Have gardiner over Ceci.

I believe it's a matter of just time. There is an agreement in place.

Gardiner can walk far away as far as i am concerned, I've watched that rodeo show far too long.

Gardiner is way better than Ceci, no doubt about that. It’s a verbal agreement, so is binding. Gardiner will want long term, while Ceci gets one year. Gardiner won’t be coming back. Especially now that we have Barrie, the RHD version of Gardiner.

I’m just wondering how Babcock is going to lineup the defense. At first it seems likely that Barrie plays with Rielly, but I’m not so sure about that. Might be better to have them on different lines and play each of them with a defensive partner. Maybe Rielly/ Ceci and Muzzin/ Barrie? Does that make most sense?

Yes, it's a verbal agreement which is as good as done. Barrie is much better than Gardiner and a RHD, much better overall. I am willing to give Ceci a chance to prove himself with the Leafs before making the decision to cut him loose!
