Ok so add Roberston to SJS trade. TOR does that trade cause Chayka is looking to get rid of Trevs bad moves. Carlo and Stolarz contract gone. You r getting rid of over $7m and just brining in $3m. Husso will be put on waivers if he can’t at least be a back up option. Or remove him from the equation and save more cap.

Trouba has been linked to Toronto in the past. He has never rejected a trade here or said he’s not willing to sign here. In fact there is talk that they r looking at him as a feee agent signing once they get rid of Carlo. So like I said b4 to u go back to sleep or watching curling.

Trouba has purposefully avoided playing for Canadian NHL franchises due to his wife's medical career. Because her rigorous medical training and residency required her to be in the United States, Trouba prioritized keeping his family together rather than his country of employment.

Most of us know that about Trouba and his wife’s career. Vastly different than your comment “Trouba hates Canada”. He actually enjoyed Winnipeg. He didn’t enjoy his contract negotiations there (as many other Jets will say the same on their negotiations as well). However he asked to be moved for those family reasons and I admire him for that. People so many times assume Hockey wives just manage the household and their husbands' time schedules.

Many of these wives have careers that influence decisions on trades, free agent signing locations etc. For instance I am sure potential career opportunities for Tessa Virtue factor in for her and Morgan Reilly as she is an Executive Advisor at Deloitte utilizing her University degrees. So if they pick a specific city for the Leafs to trade him to it will most likely be a unified decision.
