Tor: 7th
Cgy: Huberdeau, 2027 top 5 protected 1st

Tor: Reilly 20% retained
Ana: Zelwegger 2027 2nd

Tor: Stolarz
Edm: Savoie 4th

Tor: Nylander
Chi: Korinsky, 4th OA, 2027 2nd

Thoughts: Huberdeau is a big risk but Matthews needs someone passing him the puck and Huberdeau needs someone that can put his passes in the back of the net, that contract has negative value so we get a 1st with it because we don't make them retain.

We draft McKenna and Maholtra.

With us bringing in 2 D prospects and us having Danford we are looking pretty on D moving forward.

We have given up our 2 1sts for the next 2 years which sucks but we have gotten one back this year and with the Colorado pick 2 next year. We get younger and faster. We still have some work to do on this team but we don't go full rebuild and the only 2 remaining are Tavares and Matthews, if it's a bad year we look at recouping assets for Matthews at the deadline or next year.

Thoughts?

There’s some flaws to your trade. The Flames, for starters, probably are not giving up a first. They are rebuilding so they don't need to move out money that bad. Also Brad isn't their GM anymore so at very least that pick is top 10 protected. The Reilly trade makes some sense, but if I'm the Leafs I'm not taking on money for another 5 years, and the Ducks aren't gonna give up Zellweger plus a 2nd, but I'd take Zellweger 1 for 1.

The Stollie trade I don't mind either, but he doesn't have any value since he's always hurt. And the last trade I just think Willy doesn't waive his no move for Chicago.

Seriously?
The always injured Stolarz for Savoi plus a 4th.
I know we’re dealing with Stan Bowman but even he isn’t that cognitively deficient.

Huberdeau?
Huberdeau has 5 more years to run on his contract at $10.5 million.

Why would Anaheim want Rielly when they have two great young prospects in Mintyukov and Zelwegger?
Except you want them to give us Zelwegger plus a 2nd for Rielly.
Verbeek isn’t that foolish.

Korchinski can’t even make the Blackhawks team and has been passed on the depth chart by Levshunov and Sam Rinzel.
No thanks.
