Shanacant - Calgary has already stated everyone except a few players are in play for trades. The players I mention are not on the Flames "keep list"

Plus now the Chakacon is GM and Not Treedeading, Calgary aaand dToronto should be able to resume trading amoungst each other.

I personally like the targets and feel it is a great starting point to gain traction.

I think what Shanacant was meaning is why would Calgary in a rebuild bring in those three players from the Leafs at those salaries when they are not retooling. They are rebuilding. Reilly, Carlo and Lorentz are not going to change the trajectory of the Flames in a rebuild.

Sufferingsince1967 - Adding some veteran presence can help young guns. Maybe they don't mind the additions, they have the cap space and like I stated, it could be something that could evolve with tweaks and adds possibly,...... or not.

I just don't see it happening. Bahl and Whitecloud are their 2 best defencemen at this point and we are offering them our #4 and #5 d men and we are asking for their most physical winger and offering them a 4th line player.

I might be wrong but I don't see a fit on this one at all. Would I want it for Toronto? Yeah but it is a very one sided deal and as step in the wrong direction for Calgary.

Calgary is entering a full rebuild.
The last thing a team should do in a full rebuild is bring in older players on expensive contracts.
