Interesting trade prop
Very original.
I would do it for the Leafs.

First of all, that pick going to Detroit even if it’s a first will be high, not worth it for them. Realistically they r getting Hage in this deal, not enough going to Detroit.

Detroit gets a 1st and a high end prospect for a player that wants out…
Like the deal for them
Good post
Fair to all the teams involved.

Of course you would believe find it fair 1st rd pick doesn’t mean ? if it actually is worth the same as a second ?.
6.) 06 Jun 2026

But it’s not
Otherwise they would call it a 2nd?

Well, I would say you listed it actually in the order of who wins, who finishes 2nd and who ends up on the bottom in the returns on this trade.
Toronto gets a Established NHL 1 or 1A centre and two good prospects.
Montreal gets a Established NHL winger and a 2nd.
Detroit gets a late 1st pick, and a kid who could be a very good one but has not played a game in the NHL.
Yzerman is not going to let Larkin go and only take that.
